Fred was the man! Helped my grandparents and I get set up very comfortably. They have an old school sense of humor and Fred picked up on it perfectly. Was able to show the around seaside and it was a blast. I encourage other families to try this place out

Bike Rentals & Boardwalk

The beach in Seaside is one of my favorite spots on the Oregon coast. It has a long, soft sandy beach with a beautiful wide promenade to meander and watch the sunset. Whenever I go, I reserve lodging at the River Inn. One of the many reasons is that I get a free beach cruiser bike rental included in my stay. I use it to enjoy the sights around town.

The front desk staff makes it very easy to schedule a time to take the bikes on a joy ride. The first spot I always go to is Seaside’s downtown area, which is just down the street from the River Inn. There are boutiques, mom and pop shops, and great food all along the main drag.

Riding the beach cruisers around Seaside can be quite romantic. My date and I ride across the river, stop at a boutique and pick up a little trinket, have dinner, then ride to the Promenade to watch the sunset from a bench.

If you’re really lucky, you’ll happen upon the Bubble Man while at the Promenade. He creates beautiful long streams of bubbles that spark magic in the air for the young and old.

On our rides back from dinner, I always like to stop for a moment at the Lewis and Clark statue and consider their grand adventures and talk about history. What a moment it must have been for them to arrive in Seaside at the end of their long journey and behold the beauty of the ocean.

After dinner and the sunset, my date and like to cruise back to the River Inn on the bikes. In addition to the free bike rental, I typically add the Romance Package the hotel offers, it is like icing on the cake to a romantic evening.

The amenities and extra packages the River Inn offers, along with the beautiful views of the Necanicum River, makes it one of the best hotels in Seaside, Oregon. I always enjoy my stay.

Seaside Upscale Townhome - Seaside, OR

It was big enough for 5 adults. 3rd bedroom futon is not great or sleeping. No instructions on remotes for TV’s. That would have been nice. Great fenced back yard for pups. Good location. Would stay again.

Manager response:
Thank you, Susan, for your feedback! We are pleased to learn your stay was delightful as we intend to create the best vacation. We will share your comments with our local manager for review and updates. Thank you!

This home has a great location and plenty of room. As stated in previous reviews, the floors are very squeaky. It would have been nice if there were instructions on how to use the remotes for the tv. The coffee maker needs to be replaced, it only brews half of the water you put in it which makes for a mess when changing out the coffee filter.
We had a great girls weekend get a way and we’re able relax and enjoy time together.

Inside was clean and neat with all the basics to make a persons stay easy. Too bad the upstairs floors creeks-pretty annoying. Would be nice if the bbq was cleaned out and the “fire pit” controls are marginal at best. In general staying inside is is comfortable and accommodating. The back yard needs some TLC for spending time. No instructions on check out. Need some literature on basic house parodical and a bonus would be to have information on some the local sites, specialties and regional offering.

Comfortable and good location

Well appointed and clean. Very convenient to downtown

Upon entering we noticed it is a beautifully decorated home, and is very welcoming and cozy! The openness of the kitchen, dining room, and living room was enjoyable so we could all converse while my husband cooked some amazing meals. They have the house stocked well with all the necessities for bathrooms, kitchen, and cleaning. The bathrooms were nicely updated and decorated, and finding a rental with three bathrooms is hard to come by,. We enjoyed the serene backyard! We loved that we could walk to the prom in less than five minutes! And lastly, we liked the Mountain Views from the master bedroom and view of Tillamook head from the front bedroom. We are thankful for the memories we made on this trip, and being together in this house helped make that happen! Would come back again for sure!

Adorable home. Very welcoming :) loved it!!

The house is very well laid out, it looks beautiful. Lots of space and the backyard, fully fenced & perfect for our 2 little chihuahuas. The floor was a bit overly squeaky, but just wear yourself out all day, and sleep all night. No one know! :)

Well appointed modern living space on a quiet street

Townhome comfortable and convenient with many amenities. Vacasa ‘s registery extension system failed us...sent note that checkout was extended then didn’t enter it into their system. 1 1/2 hour phone call later it was solved by charging us twice!

Manager response:
Hi Mary, thank you for staying with us. We are glad that you enjoyed your visit. We apologize for any concerns with adding your additional night. We will ensure that our system is working well. We have refunded for the double charge error. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again very soon.

This property was a very short jaunt to a quiet part of the beach and a short walk to the downtown area and busier section of the beach. The proximity alone is worth renting this property. The amount of amenities was great and way more than other rentals we have had in the past. Great sitting areas and lots of room for all. It was easy checking in and out and did not have any issues the entire time.
On a couple of other points, the floors upstairs are quite squeaky so don't try and sneak around. The only other nitpick is there is not a tv in the master bedroom. For those who like to fall asleep with one on or even to cuddle up after a long day at the beach, make other arrangements.
All in all, this is a great property and I would not hesitate to rent this space again.

It was a good stay! There is lots of room for a family here. The bedrooms and beds were spacious and having 2 full bathrooms is nice. Garage is really snug, and there is no street parking. Fire pit in the back yard with plenty of seating. Nice beach access just a walk away, and you can drive or walk down to Broadway to enjoy Seaside with little effort. Appliances and Televisions are all up to date. For the price I got, the place was absolutely worth it. Floor is super creaky upstairs, so beware those who are light sleepers with other active people staying with them.

I only have one minor con and that is the late check in time and early check out time. I understand its a larger rental and would require extra time for cleaning. But 4 PM check in and 10 AM checkout requires some planning to maximize your trip, especially if you are staying for only a couple of days.

Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Kessler! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at our home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not offering early check-ins or late check-outs at the moment. We are giving our local teams more time to ensure that the homes are thoroughly cleaned per CDC standards for our guests' safety. We look forward to hosting you again!

It was roomy and clean, we enjoyed out stay here, it was an easy walk to the beach. We could walk most places we wanted to go. It might have been more walking than some people would want to do but we enjoyed it.

My bestie and I decided to road trip to Seaside to re-live childhood memories. This house was a wonderful home base, only a few blocks to the promenade and about 5 blocks to Broadway and the cute downtown area. House was clean (my bestie is kinda germaphobe and she said it was good!), the beds were comfortable, we both had our own room and bathroom so we had privacy and alone time if needed. It was a perfect getaway from real life and break from work.

This rental was light, bright and comfortable. It was just a block to the beach and a couple blocks to the promenade. Great place for a getaway!

This home was very nice. My kids loved it. Especially their “own living room” upstairs.
The house was very nice, although there were little dings like the upstairs floor creaking, the house was overall great.
Nice backyard with plenty of seating, nice gas fire pit outside, table, and grill.
Good channels on their tv, very close to the beach and about an 8 minute walk to downtown area.
The house lived up to its name, it’s not a “cozy cottage“ like most homes in the area, this was definitely more of an upscale feel.

The house was just as described. It was 2 blocks back from the beach and a couple blocks from the touristy street. It was well stocked. My main complaint is that there was pet hair everywhere. The stairs were coated in it and there was a ball of hair behind one of the chairs in the living area. Kind of gross. Beds were comfy and bedrooms were a good size.

Manager response:
Tara, thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your time at Seaside Upscale Townhome. We apologize for the oversight regarding the cleanliness. We have passed along your feedback to the local housekeeping staff and Manager so they are aware of your comments. Please note our 24-hour customer service line is here to assist at all times and would have sent housekeeping over to take care of the issue.  We hope to see you again soon!

This was a great location. House was great. Everything you need is included.

Great location to walk to the beach or downtown area. Perfect size for the 5 of us & the dogs! Nice outdoor area with gas fireplace. Would definitely rent again.

Great location

Manager response:
Lori, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We apologize that you encountered some cleanliness issues upon arrival. Please know that this is not commonplace, and we thank you for contacting us in order for local staff to promptly resolve these issues. We look forward to your next stay, thank you.

Very clean! The beach is a block away. There was a wagon, camp chairs, and a bike in the garage which was so nice. The house is not on a particularly nice block but it is quiet and in a more secluded area. The bigger hotels and condos are further up and down town so the beach in front of the home is less busy. It had everything we needed and were very happy with it. We will stay there again if we make it back in the future.

Very comfortable townhouse for our family of 6. Ideal for family with kids (one of the bedrooms had a futon/daybed setup which worked just fine for kids). Awesome location just a couple blocks from the prom and a 10 min walk to the heart of Broadway. Backyard was enjoyable in the evenings for sitting around a fire.

Super clean and updated home. We were steps to the prom and had a great beach access point off the main tourist area with a swing set. It was easy to walk to the main strip as well. The house is newer and very clean. The backyard was awesome for evenings. There is a nice propane fire table and grill to do at home cooking if you need. We loved this stay and highly recommend for groups or families.

The house was super clean and had all the necessities. I would definately stay here again.

The house was very clean and in great condition. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the layout and location were perfect for our little family. It was nice and quiet for our toddler to be able to nap during the day and the fenced yard was a major bonus for the dog. This was a great place and I would recommend it for a small family.

We loved our stay in this perfect little house! It was so convenient for walking to the beach or town, had great amenities, living area was perfect for us, super comfy beds and really clean and well kept. And such a bonus that we could enjoy time away with our furry friends too! Highly recommend!!

The home was beautiful and loved how close it was to town! The only down fall was the neighbor felt like we where being watched the entire time when it came to how much noise we made and how late we stayed outside.

Manager response:
Hi, Francisca! We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to read you felt uncomfortable. We wanted to note that as of August 2020, there are new, lovely neighbors for this home. Thank you!

8 Astounding, Unique Lodgings of Seaside - N. Oregon Coast

(Seaside, Oregon) – Staying the night in Seaside has been a major Oregon coast attraction for generations. It's a lot easier now than it used to be: tourists mostly stayed in tents during the summer a little over 100 years ago. These days, you have a wealth of extraordinary hotels, motels and vacation rentals to choose from, and a host of amenities – some of which will surprise. (Above: River Inn at Seaside).

Beach House Vacation Rentals is your ticket to great vacation homes to stay not just in Seaside but up in Gearhart as well – even a stunning historic home in Hammond near the Wreck of the Peter Iredale. There are a lot of historic beauties here as well as modern wonders. One home comes with an upstairs balcony and a rounded section that evokes a lighthouse, graced with elegant, polished wood interiors and a sense of the antique. There are some at the Seaside Beach Club, sitting right on the prom and providing upstairs views and vistas of the ocean. Seaside, Oregon. 1-800-995-2796. www.beachhouse1.com.

City Center Motel sits right next to everything happening in the middle of town – a mere block and a half from Broadway. Contained therein are budget-friendly guest rooms, while the exterior is tastefully decorated with lively pastels. You also get access to the pool.  250 1st Ave, Seaside, Oregon. 503-738-6377. www.citycenterseaside.com

Right up on the Necanicum River is the Coast River Inn, with its lovely mix of soothing light blue and woodsy shingles. It's a close walk to downtown and all its yummy eateries and attractions. Here, you can also snag free bike rentals and some rooms have Jacuzzi's. 800 South Holladay Drive. Seaside, Oregon. (503) 738-8474. Website here.

The centerpiece to downtown, the Inn at Seaside sits right next to the Seaside Convention Center. Enter and you'll find a stunning lobby of marble-like tiles, while the rooms are a delightful blend of sleek and chic. There's a big pool, distant view of the waves and most of the rooms have great glimpses of activity on the river. The business center is impressive and you can also get complimentary bike rentals here. 800-699-5070. 503-738-9581. 441 Second Ave. Seaside, Oregon. www.innatseaside.com.

Close to the Prom and kitty-corner from downtown, the Hillcrest Inn has this rather dreamy blend of a vintage Oregon coast and a modern spark. Plus, you're within earshot of the waves. Highlights include some dog-friendly rooms, an outdoor barbecue, min-suites, and some cozy romantic rooms that come with a two-person jetted spa. 118 North Columbia. Seaside, Oregon. (503) 738-6273. www.seasidehillcrest.com

Overlooking that mesmerizing waterway, the River Inn at Seaside's exterior almost feels like a grand estate. There's even views of the waves in the distance. Interiors are a classy mix of browns and whites, and special amenities include a playground, on-site fire pits and bikes to roam around in. 531 Avenue A, Seaside, Oregon. www.riverinnatseaside.com. 503-717-5744.

With a gorgeous view of the surf and of the many souls wandering the Prom, the Seashore Inn is a distinctive oceanfront hotel. At once retro and yet modern, it somehow evokes both the '60s and the New Millennium. The rooms combine wood with semi-futuristic whites to a delightful effect. There's also a pool, fitness room, hot tub and a sauna. 60 North Promenade, Seaside, Oregon. 503.738.6368. 888.738.6368.  http://www.seashoreinnor.com/.

Through Oregon Beach Vacations, you can find some jaw-droppers in Seaside. They have a huge catalog of vacation rentals in the area: along the Prom, throughout its neighborhoods, at the Cove and more. Lots of historic wonders to upscale eye-poppers, and numerous condos. Tips to Improve the User Login Experience

After months of hard effort, your new web design application is ready to use. You and your partners are pleased with the outcome, and the users who tested it for you are enthusiastic about it, particularly the extra construction features. This application has every reason to be a winner, in your opinion. What happens if you don't come out on top? So, you're wondering why your website or app hasn't progressed. There was a burst of activity shortly after the app's launch, but now only a few people are using it. The abrupt lack of interest in what you know is a good application perplexes you. Redesigning the sign-up and login forms could be the key to unlocking the enigma. If a user is unable to access the site, they will not return, and word will spread. The old sign-up and login methods are well-known. Consider using new ways that make filling out forms easier, which are now available. If the modification makes sense in your situation, this could be enough to solve the mystery. Log in registration form example For most of us, logging into websites is so commonplace that we don't think about it until we can't. We can't recall our old password because the website's security policy requires a new one. It's easy to forget passwords for sites we don't use very often. We have no idea which email address we used to sign up and subsequently discover we never did. Who can remember 100 usernames and passwords for logging in and signing up? Frustration with logins is terrible for business. Such encounters irritate us to the point of exhaustion. We give up trying to access the website. This is bad news for businesses that rely on online sales. According to one study, out of 160,000 consumers who requested their password, 75% leave their transaction before it is completed. Filling out and sending a sign-up form might be time-consuming if it's long and detailed. During the process, the user's passion for shopping may decrease. The websites are never seen if a visitor loses interest before logging on or exits in frustration. Promotions and products. As a result, the company misses out on converting a visitor into a customer. The login process is more than ordinary; it's important enough to begin experimenting with new designs in order to address a growing problem for users and organizations. Consider this An interactive login design appears to be straightforward on the surface. Many people are unaware of the numerous design considerations that go into creating a login page. When two or more factors are mixed, the consequence is frequently complexity and frustration. Which platform is being used to reach out to the audience? What are the business procedures used internally? What are the methods for dealing with the site's legacy? The look and feel of the page's interface. Don't underestimate the significance of safety. It should be obvious how to log in When a website user prepares to log in, the position on the website should be clearly specified, and the input form should be visible on the page. Many websites just provide a link to the login page, which adds an extra step to the process and takes the user away from the home page. Preferred logins Users enjoy logging in to websites using their social media accounts. If there is a better way, no one has mentioned it. All you have to do is press a button, and you're in. You do not need to establish an account on websites that accept this type of login. A username and password, or your email address and password, are the additional options for logging in. With this traditional procedure, there is room for improvement. It’s all about security Because security is crucial, we cannot use the same username and password for all of our internet accounts. Our protection is sometimes so tight that we can't even go to a website we know is safe. As a result, we tell security to open it nonetheless, which can compromise our security. There has to be a better way to do things. We require security as well as convenience of usage. When attempting to connect to a website for which you have forgotten your username or password, you are more likely to remember them if the website provides you with helpful information. Unfortunately, identity theft may result as a result of this. If you continue to guess, the website will lock you out and you will have to contact customer care. That's so aggravating that you might as well stop caring. Here are some viable options for resolving the issue: When a user's login fails, it's not clear whether it's because of their username or password. Allow three tries because we're all prone to making mistakes. Set a time restriction instead of locking individuals out so they have to call customer care. They could try again in fifteen minutes and see whether they remember this time. Use the email as username To login to most websites, you'll need a username, and others will allow you to use your email address as your username. Both should be alternatives, and they should be labeled as such so that consumers are aware of their existence. People can typically recall their email address, which is half the battle won. No guessing games, please Fields on login pages frequently appear to be afterthoughts, tacked on at the last minute. This behavior might lead to confusion about where there should be simplicity. Other times, the username is allocated to you without your knowledge of what it is or where it may be found. For Instance You want to pay your utility bill online, but you don't know your account number, so you can't log in. That's what you'll need for your username. Label information that clearly directs the user to where they may obtain their account number.

Bike Riding in Seaside, Gearhart, and Cannon Beach, Oregon

The prom is an excellent place to ride a bike from one end to the other. Most every block connects to the prom so shopping or grabbing a quick bite to eat is a snap. If you don't have a bike, don't worry. Seaside has plenty of bike rentals as well. You can also purchase bikes at the local bike rental shops.

Mountain Biking On North Coast Oregon

With sweet salt air rushing in your face fly through some amazing coastal trails:

Mountain Biking in and near Seaside, Oregon is an incredible adventure.

Fort Stevens, Oregon:

Two major loops exist one small and one big. There is more potential in this park so let the rangers know you are interested in that type of use by filling out a comment card at the ranger station.
Battery Russell Trail:

The small one is accessible from the Battery Russell parking lot. This trail is awesome if you like a smooth ride some technical turns, relatively easy climbs and speed. People hike this so there are no obstacles of major significance per the park rangers but still tons of fun for a moderate difficulty trail. Access it from the parking lot riding up hill next to the big battery on your right then a little battery on your left to the trail head. It is best started from the battery but you can do an out and back if you wish. We normally cruise the paved walking path back because it is pretty and enjoyable as well then do a second loop if we have energy and time to burn.

Horse Trail:

This trail is not designated for bike use however you will discover it is used just as seaside oregon bike rentals for mountain biking as horse back riders. Be respectful of the trail and horse riders so we don't lose access to this great trail. It is very sandy so it drains to rideable state after two days of dry weather where other trails to the east will stay wet for a week. It extends south for about three miles and you can jump off in many locations to hit the fire road and return to the car if you lose track of time.

Seaisde, Oregon:

Seaside Fast Track Loop / Off Of Sunset Drive:

The climb is pretty brutal if your legs are a bit out of shape however it is nothing compared to larger all day outings found in Bend or Mt Hood so stress not as you can do this one without issue. Developed by locals over the years it is constantly evolving and increasing in quality. You will find carved banks, technical root navigation, woops, jumps, drops and best of all it drains well because of rocks and roots. Bring a buddy as it is unlikely you will see anyone if something breaks or you take a tumble.

Most important is to realize the access going in is no big deal but coming out you will be traversing a lot for sale. The old exit is not being built on and there are no-trespassing or will call the cops signs all over. Currently it is not known to be an issue to exit on the vacant lot so please be mindful to keep your presence to a minimum when at that stage of the ride. Park in the cove parking and go surf after to wash off the sweat and dirt!

Cannon Beach Mt Biking:

Pump House /// ask Mike about this trail = hard to find and really not set up to ride but is rideable if you want to extend the Falcon Cove Trail.

http://www.mikesbike.com/

Mike's Bike Shop 248 N. Spruce, Cannon Beach, Oregon, U.S.A.

503.436.1266

Falcon Cove Trail: technical and challenging and a little boring on the switchbacks climbing to the top. Reward at the list of community banks in georgia is an amazing view of the Short Sand Beach. Really really fun first couple miles through the woods and through some streams and an old growth forest.

Road Biking On North Oregon Coast

On the North Oregon Coast, you can cycle along rocky cliffs with vast views of the ocean beaches. Follow forest trails owned by logging companies, explore rain forests. Coast Highway 101 crosses through vibrant, lush forests (partly rain forest), and the back seaside oregon bike rentals roads lead through inland valleys with farms, lakes, rivers and stunning mountain views. Highway 101 North (a designated Scenic Byway) has a wide shoulder with maintained bike lanes along both edges that is part of the Oregon Coast Bike Route. The route takes you through state parks along the coast, many of which feature their own bike trails.

We suggest you check out the ride on Lewis & Clark Road in north Seaside all the way out to Jeffers Garden and Youngs Bay and if you want to push it to the Astoria Column it will be about 60 miles round trip. Great scenic loopy road through the coastal range, alongside creeks and grazing farm land.

Cruising Biking On North Oregon Coast

Bring that beach cruiser and start either in the estuary in Seaside or the Cove and ride one side of town to the other getting in about 6mi. We suggest starting on the north side then getting a bite to eat on Ave U before heading back .

You will also enjoy the paved paths at Ft Stevens which go for miles seaside oregon bike rentals miles. Explore the beach, Columbia River, South Jetty, Peter Iredale ship wreck and lakes at this neat retired military installation. Great way to kill a day or three!!!!
